The ministry noted that the execution of this agreement will help Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to increase the turnover of trade between the two countries from the current 800 million USD, up to 2 billion year on year. the other.
This was stated during discussions between Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Sardor Umurzakov and the head of the Afghan presidential administration Mohammad Shakir Kargar in the town of Termez, the administrative center of the Surkhandarya region.
The Uzbek side also invites Afghan entrepreneurs to continue their activities in the “Termez International Trade Center” free trade area based on the border with Afghanistan.
